Mission

Planning and implementing in an institution of a placement environment, good governance, efficiency and productivity with the purpose of providing services required to arm firstly skillful principals and teachers with new knowledge of good attitude and thereby structuring a methodology needed to develop strengths in children to win the future world with enlighten independent thinking of thousands of sons and daughters in a qualitative system of schools.

As the Zonal Director of Education of the Hambantota Educational Zone , I would like to forward my message with great pleasure on this historic occasion of launching a web - site, In 2009 being the year of Information Technology & English.

It will be a great help to exchange information & views among the inter zones, ministries, departments, provincial education offices & for the whole education system. Also, It will help to identify the strengths & the weaknesses of the this zone & to enlighten the future of the students in this area.... .
